FDIC SABEMI Selects GesFinTM
São Paulo, Brazil - 08/20/2007SABEMI Seguradora S/A (www.sabemi.com.br), one of the most traditional insurance companies in Brazil, has announced the selection of GesFinTM to implement the management project of its Investment Funds in Credit Rights – FIDC SABEMI Financeiro. The company specializes in public servants’ payroll consignation, and operates in the areas of life insurance, private insurance against accidents, complementary social insurance, and financial assistance.
According to the GesFinTM Commercial Director, Antonio Dutra Junior, “SABEMI is structuring its financial management platform, and GesFinTM is perfect to promote integrated management between the FIDC application and the Corporate Financial Planning. We have been extensively assessed regarding our competencies and our understanding of the client’s needs. We are very glad SABEMI has chosen us, which consequently increases our responsibility.”
The underlying assets of FIDC SABEMI Financeiro are credit rights which come from grants agreements of SABEMI Seguradora S/A’s financial assistance, which were entrusted through payroll, and which are duly formalized by SUSEP 320/06. Standard&Poor’s Rating Services, has attributed the “brAAf” rating for SABEMI Seguradora S/A, for its R$100 million fund structure.
According to Márcia Hupfer, Manager of the FIDC Process, “GesFinTM solution will lead the FIDC thoroughly, starting from the sorting and selection of the receivable accounts, to the operation financial analysis, to rollovers, to accounting, and to the effective insurance funds through dashboards and managerial reports”. In addition, at a second stage of the project, this FIDC application will be integrated to the Planning process of SABEMI with GesFinTM v3, thus feeding planning, and performing a complete monitoring of the company bottom-line”. The GesFin’s capability to generate scenarios and simulations will be applied to SABEMI’s FIDC business, which is fundamental for the operation dynamics and security”, complements GesFinTM Commercial Director, Antonio Dutra Junior.
