GesFin^TM - Rules

GesFin^TM enables financial managers to define business rules related to budgeting and planning data collection such as enforcing limits, thresholds, or other aggregate calculations in order to maintain integrity and continuity of plans. Supported rule types include:

• Informative - Users are alerted with a message about the business rule but they can submit plan data that does not conform to the rule.
• Conditional - Users are alerted with a message about the business rule. They can only submit plan data that does not conform to the rule if they provide an explanation.
• Restrictive - Users are alerted with a message about the rule. They cannot submit plan data that does not conform to the rule.
